The ministry launched an integrated electronic platform dubbed Nusuk that serves as the new gateway for pilgrims looking to make their way to the holy cities of Makkah and Madinah and beyond.

Nusuk app updates
In line with the latest updates from the Ministry of Umrah and Hajj, the Nusuk app offers a revamped and enriched experience for pilgrims embarking on their spiritual journey. The new design incorporates additional services and privileges, ensuring a seamless and fulfilling experience for the guests of Allah.
With enhanced features, users can now access a range of functionalities, including applying for Umrah visas and permits and gaining entry to sacred sites like Rawdah As Sheerafah, among numerous others.

What is Nusuk app?
The Nusuk app is essentially the successor of the Eatmarna app. The integrated and unified app will facilitate pilgrims from around the world by facilitating the electronic issuance of their visit and/or Umrah visa. Additionally, the Nusuk app may also be used to arrange visits to various religious and historical sites in Saudi Arabia.
The authorities have decided that pilgrims from all over the world who wish to perform the Umrah ritual must now reserve an appointment via the Nusuk or Tawakkalna apps.

Nusuk app login
After downloading the app, you must first create an account to book your permit. To create an account, follow these steps:
open your Nusuk App
select your language
select the ‘Visitor’ account if you are an international visitor
enter all the required details
create a password
tick the box to agree with the terms and conditions
click the ‘Register’ button
enter the OTP that has been sent to your SMS
Once you have created an account, you can book an Umrah and Rawdah permit through the application.

In addition, pilgrims of all nationalities can have their Umrah visas issued for a three-month extension through the Nusuk app. With this convenience, the pilgrims can now stay in the Middle Eastern country for one to three months.
Nusuk App for Umrah permit
To book an Umrah permit, you can follow the steps below:
log in/create an account with “New User”
select “Umrah” from Holy Mosque Services
identify individuals
select the desired date
select the time slot
read and accept the instructions
press “continue”
You will be able to view your Umrah details afterward. The details include the reservation and permit number, a QR Code of the permit and the date and time slot. It is advised that visitors choose timings with fewer crowds, which are indicated by green colors on the calendar.
Nusuk App for Rawdah permit
Please note: Saudi Arabia now permits pilgrims only one visit per year to Al Rawda Al Sharifa at the Prophet’s Mosque, Islam’s second holiest site. This means you can apply for a permit using the app once every 365 days.
The Nusuk App offers the option to book a permit for visiting and praying at Al Rawda Al Sharifa, the location housing Prophet Muhammad’s tomb. Follow the steps below to secure a Rawdah permit through the app:
log in/create an account with “New User”
choose “Praying in the Noble Rawdah” in the Prophet’s Mosque Services section
after your name is displayed, select it and click “Continue”
select the desired date
select the time slot
read and accept the instructions
click on the “Issue permit” button
After the last step, your Rawdah permit will be automatically issued. To access your permit, select the “Permits” option in the menu. You can also cancel your permit by clicking the “Cancel” button located below it.
Nusuk app for Hajj
No, the Nusuk app is not currently available for Hajj bookings. However, pilgrims from 58 countries can register for Hajj on the Nusuk Hajj platform.
Nusuk app for companion registration
If you wish to request permits for your companion for Umrah, you can do so on the Nusuk app by following the steps below:
open your Nusuk app
click on ‘Umrah’
tick off the main user.
click ‘Add companion’
select the ‘companion type’
input the Iqama ID
select the nationality
choose the city of arrival
input the date of birth
click ‘add’
