Dibba Al Hisn Fort & Settlement, which is known for its role in trade and cultural exchange is important in regional commerce. After all, it’s known for its role in trade and cultural exchange for more than five centuries, as it has artefacts from countries like China, Europe, and India.
Fili Fort also plays a key role in protecting water resources and trade routes. This is between Al Dhaid and Oman and due to its strategic location, the importance of the place is imminent. In fact, it’s also supported by a historically large irrigation system, which is quite fantastic.
Wadi Shees is another site included in the list and is regarded for its natural beauty. The environmentally significant area has an ancient irrigation system. Complete with rare wildlife species, it makes the site interesting to scientists.
So, with these sites now included in the important list, this is truly a proud moment for the people of Sharjah.
